Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care across units as assigned, following clinical scope and facility policies. You will respond to call lights, document care, and maintain a clean, stocked patient environment, while supporting department performance improvements.

The role includes training new partners, assisting with vital signs, and participating in safety procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and timely reporting of information in group settings.
• Proactive in maintaining patient safety and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-care environment.
• Willingness to train and precept new partners with unit educator.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as assigned per scope and policies.
• Respond to call lights promptly and document care provided.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient environments and manage supplies.
• Float to units as needed based on patient care needs.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Assist with BGM, bladder scanning, and catheter care as directed.
