Forest View Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Inpatient Clinician in Grand Rapids, MI. The role provides psychiatric case-management and therapy, coordinating care with hospital and community resources to support discharge planning and aftercare.

Candidates must hold Michigan licensure (LMSW/LLMSW/LLPC/LPC/LLP/TLLP) with preferred group therapy experience. Comprehensive benefits are offered and a strong interdisciplinary team supports patient treatment.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following licensures in the state of Michigan: LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, TLLP.
• Previous group therapy experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Completes a thorough psychosocial assessment and collaborates with the patient to develop individualized treatment goals.
• Initiate discharge planning and arrange aftercare appointments/referrals.
• Oversee the treatment planning process with person-centered planning and coordinate all disciplines in treatment interventions, updating treatment plans every seven days or as needed.
• Conducts group therapy and other groups as assigned.
• Facilitate individual and/or family sessions as needed.
• Documents each interaction with patient that is consistent with hospital standards.
• Attends all appropriate team meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for an Inpatient Clinician.

The Inpatient Clinician provides psychiatric case-management and therapeutic services to assigned patients with diverse needs to ensure there is a coordination of care between the hospital, community, treatment, therapeutic services, education and discharge planning.
