Job summary

Sunrise Vista Behavioral Health in Canton, OH is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to guide patients from crisis to stability. You will deliver structured, evidence-based care and float between units as needed.

Join our team to complete assessments, facilitate groups (CBT/DBT/psychoeducation), coordinate aftercare, and document progress. A Master’s degree with state licensure and inpatient experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with state licensure (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LMFT).
• 1+ year inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete therapy assessments and treatment plans within regulatory timeframes.
• Facilitate daily groups (CBT/DBT/psychoeducation), family sessions, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate aftercare with community providers; remove barriers to continuity.
• Document progress notes that reflect measurable goals and outcomes.
• Float between units/shifts to cover needs; learn new routines quickly.
• Build rapport fast with patients and teams while maintaining consistency of care.
