The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the central distribution team on 8-hour shifts. Inpatient pharmacists participate in rounds, adjust dosing for organ dysfunction, and support safety initiatives.

The role involves supervising technicians, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to education for residents and students. Ideal candidates hold a B.Pharm and a PGY-1/PGY-2 residency, plus an active pharmacist license in the state.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of a PGY-1 and/or PGY-2 residency is preferred.
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Staff central and satellite pharmacies and supervise technicians.
• Provide patient-specific pharmaceutical care during rounds and reviews.
• Participate in order processing, verification, and timely problem-solving.
• Contribute to medication safety via incident reporting and PSN reviews.
• Educate staff and students; support residency programs and training.
