Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Adult Inpatient Night Shift (7on / 7off). The role provides in-depth clinical pharmacy services across multiple services and contributes to education and system improvement within the Clinical and Patient Care Services Division.

Applicants must have a Pharm.D. and be licensed or eligible to practice in North Carolina; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree required or equivalent.
• Licensed or eligible to practice pharmacy in North Carolina.
• 2+ years of pharmacy practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth clinical pharmacy services to various services including General Surgery, Pulmonary/Renal Critical Care, and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Educate medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on therapy management and monitoring.
• Participate in departmental/hospital committees and contribute to student and resident education.
