Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join the team at 55 Fruit Street in Boston. The role features an 8 days on / 6 days off schedule with a noon to 10:30 pm evening shift, delivering comprehensive, patient-centered pharmacotherapy to diverse inpatient populations.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and residents, provide therapeutic recommendations, handle drug information requests, and contribute to policy/procedure initiatives while supporting

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Postgraduate residency or fellowship training is preferred.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred or requiring within 18 months.
• Completion of ASHP PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy residency/fellowship preferred.
• Knowledge in IV admixtures, drug information, ambulatory, manufacturing, and drug distribution.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered medication therapy and clinical interventions for inpatients.
• Provide therapeutic recommendations and respond to drug information questions.
• Respond to hospital emergencies and participate in policy/procedure optimization.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal medication use.
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students; contribute to education/training.
