Intermountain Health in Miles City, MT, is seeking a Pharmacist for the inpatient pharmacy at Holy Rosary Hospital. The role provides clinical pharmacy services across a 109-bed critical access hospital, including ICU, OR, Labor & Delivery, and more.

This 40-hour-per-week position features 4×10-hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotations, on-call, and variable shift times. The pharmacist will review orders, counsel patients, and support safety and regulatory compliance across the care team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state and ability to dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and statutes.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification if required by the site.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for allergies, duplications, and drug interactions to optimize therapy.
• Oversees preparation and timely delivery of medications to care areas, ensuring safety and proper storage.
• Provides patient counseling and promotes medication education and adherence.
• Maintains regulatory training and documentation, compliant with laws and SOPs.
• Supervises interns, technicians, and staff; provides clinical consultation to health professionals.
