Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights seeks an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist for the evening 7 on/7 off schedule, based in the Marymount Hospital pharmacy. The role blends clinical and operational duties to support inpatient services and participate in emergency responses within a team of ~36 caregivers.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or PharmD/Bachelor, active license or eligible, and required BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification and immunization administration training or 90 days to obtain.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification within one year if required to respond to arrests.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to regulations.
• Document services completely, accurately and timely.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful experiences.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and patients.
