Job summary

Specialty Medical Staffing is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in a specialty inpatient hospital in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.

Ideal candidates should have strong inpatient clinical experience and excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care through medication management and discharge counseling. Full medical benefits and a comprehensive 401k package are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Strong clinical knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacokinetic dosing.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication order verification and support daily inpatient pharmacy operations.
• Complete medication reconciliation and discharge medication reviews.
• Provide discharge counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication therapy.
