Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or Kinesiology (Master’s preferred), BLS certification, and completion of ECG and Nursing Mobility coursework within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is required.
• Master's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is preferred.
• AACVPR and/or ACSM-approved certification is preferred.
• Inpatient or clinical fitness/exercise experience is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required.
• ECG course completion within 6 months of hire.
• Nursing Mobility course completion within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized exercise and mobility programs for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with care teams to integrate mobility and exercise into inpatient care plans.
