Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian to provide inpatient/outpatient nutrition care aligned with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Nutrition Care Process. You will perform medical nutrition therapy, education, monitoring, and coordinate referrals as indicated within the interprofessional team.

The role requires RD credential and Texas licensure within 60 days, with potential travel within the Houston area. Non-exempt, growth opportunities, and committee participation.

Qualifications

• RD credential required (CDR).
• Texas licensure within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of ACEND-accredited dietetics internship.
• Graduate of an education program approved for credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Implement nutrition care per the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' NCP.
• Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Assessments and monitor care plans.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team for patient safety and outcomes.
• Education and counseling of patients and families as indicated.
