Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is hiring Registered Dietitians (RD, LD) for full-time and supplemental roles across several Houston-area locations, including the Texas Medical Center, Katy, and Northeast campuses.

We seek compassionate, patient-focused dietitians with at least one year of clinical experience to join inpatient and outpatient nutrition teams; if you’re passionate about improving health through nutrition, we’d love to connect with you.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• CPR certification (Heart Saver) within six months of hire.
• Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the RD exam.
• Ability to interact positively with many types of people.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Establishes goals for nutrition care of patients; conducts assessments and develops individualized plans with ongoing evaluation.
• Provides medical nutrition therapy appropriate for patient age.
• Modifies nutrition regimens based on preferences, tolerances, and cultural needs.
• Documents nutrition care plans in the medical record and tracks monitoring parameters.
