MedStar Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to hospitalized patients with diverse conditions. You will perform malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused exams, and develop treatment plans aligned with department policies and standards.

The role requires RD licensure (and DC licensure), 5–7 years of clinical nutrition experience, or 3–4 years with a relevant specialty certification.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Food & Nutrition Science with accredited dietetic internship.
• Master's degree required if completed after Jan 1 2024.
• 5-7 years progressive clinical nutrition experience required.
• 3-4 years with specialty certification preferred.
• Registered Dietitian licensure (RD) and DC licensure required.
• CNSC or other specialty cert preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients.
• Consults with physicians on nutrition plans and goals.
• Develops nutrition assessments, plans, and follow-up in medical records.
• Cross-covers neonate and pediatric units as needed.
• Stays current with nutrition literature and presents findings.
