MedStar Health is seeking a registered dietitian to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to inpatients across diverse medical conditions. You will assess, plan, and document nutrition care, coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with accredited dietetic internship is required.
Master’s degree required if completed after Jan 1, 2024.
5–7 years of progressive clinical nutrition experience is required.
3–4 years of progressive clinical nutrition experience with a specialty certification is preferred.
REG DIET – Registered Dietitian required at hire.
DC DOH – Dietitian license required at hire.
CNSC or equivalent specialty certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

Provide comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with various conditions.
Consult with physicians and health professionals on diet plans and nutrition needs.
Develop and document nutrition assessment, plan, and follow-up in medical records.
Participate in rounds, meetings, and journal clubs; present case studies annually.
Maintain professional credentials and participate in quality improvement activities.
