Job summary

TouchPoint in Southfield, MI, is seeking an in-person Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care hospital setting. You will perform nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and staff to improve health outcomes.

Requirements include RDN registration or eligibility, state licensure, and a willingness to obtain licensure if needed. New grads are welcome to apply, with a flexible, full-time M-F schedule and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RDN) or eligible
• New grads welcome
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care hospital setting
• Educate patients, families, staff and community on nutrition and lifestyle
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans
• Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with nutrition guidelines and facility protocols
• Support quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Mentor dietetic interns and staff as applicable
