Job summary

Brentwood Hospital in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Full-time Inpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide care for patients aged 4–12. The role involves weekday daytime hours with 1:6 weekend in-person rounding and one weekly evening on-call by phone.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board eligibility/certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and a Child/Adolescent fellowship program
• Louisiana medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for patients aged 4–12.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines
