Job summary

Atlantic MEDsearch is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for an Adult Inpatient Unit and Partial Hospitalization Program in Shreveport, LA. You will join a team of five Psychiatry physicians and experienced support staff, with a Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm schedule and about 40 hours per week.

The position offers a competitive base salary, full health benefits, malpractice with tail, vacation and CME, a 401k plan, relocation assistance, a commencement bonus, and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• Full time position Psychiatrist needed for Adult Inpatient Unit and Adult Partial Hospitalization Program.
• Join 5 other Psychiatry physicians and an experienced support staff.
• Work schedule Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm w/40 hours per week. See an average of 15 patients per day. Share call 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment planning for adult inpatients and partial hospitalization program.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and transitions.
