Qualifications

• MD or DO with Louisiana medical licensure eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Board certification or eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care to pediatric patients.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and the care team.
• Participate in treatment planning and family education.
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
