Northwell Health is recruiting a full-time BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Service Line at South Oaks Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated practitioner with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who is able to work collaboratively with other clinical professionals.
This is a truly unique opportunity to join the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Service Line, a three-unit inpatient service that provides comprehensive pediatric care for children ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 13-17. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), development of recommendations for continued care, and medical student education.
South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island. Our inpatient services include child, adolescent, and adult units, as well as substance use disorder treatments. Our outpatient services include comprehensive behavioral services for young people ages 5 to 21, an adolescent partial hospitalization program, and treatment for substance use disorders for adolescents and adults.
