Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician III for the Inpatient Pharmacy. This part-time role (16 hours) covers every other weekend and one weekday, handling sterile and non-sterile meds, inventory, and patient services.
Candidates must be registered with the MA Board of Pharmacy, hold PTCB or exCPT certification, and have relevant sterile IV experience to ensure compliance with USP 797 and pediatric IV compounding competency.

As a BMC Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, you will be preparing and distributing medications, operating and monitoring pharmacy automated technology systems, maintaining inventory, performing daily quality assurance audits, providing customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records. You will assists in training staff under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to help further BMC’s mission of providing exceptional care for all.

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
