Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a qualified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our inpatient Cardiology team in High Point, NC. The role involves direct patient care, collaborative teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a leading heart center.

The position requires NC licensure as a physician assistant or ACNP, BLS/ACLS certification, and prior urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License; Certified by NCCPA.
• Prior clinical experience in an urgent/emergent care environment preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations in an inpatient setting.
• Determine appropriate patient care plans using clinical judgment.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics; explain procedures to patients.
• Collaborate with medical team for effective team-based care.
• Possible involvement in research projects and student precepting.
