The ideal candidate holds an ACNP or PA certification, a Master’s degree, and NC licensure, with BLS/ACLS and urgent care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or preferred for ACNP/PA track.
• Current North Carolina medical/Nurse Practitioner license and board certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Urgent/emergent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine patient care plan using medical decision-making.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Explain procedures, preparation, and effects to patients.
• Apply department guidelines for procedural skills.
• Opportunity to participate in clinical research and to precept students.
• Uphold mission and cultural commitments of the center.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
