Advocate Health is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the High Point, North Carolina cardiology team in an inpatient setting. The 40-hour, full-time role involves comprehensive patient assessments, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and responsibilities across diagnostic interpretation and care planning.

Candidates should have an ACNP/PA-C certification, NC licensure, BLS/ACLS, and a track record in inpatient cardiology or urgent/emergent care.

Qualifications

• PA/ACNP requirements listed in the posting: Master’s degree preferred, current NC medical/nursing licensure, board certification, and BLS/ACLS.
• Urgent care/inpatient cardiology experience desired; willingness to work in a hospital inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient patient care and evaluations.
• Collaborate with medical team for care planning.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform procedures per department guidelines.
• Possibility to participate in research and precept learners.
