Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiology Division. The APP will collaborate with the inpatient cardiology team, participate in rounds, write notes, and support testing and procedures with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nursing required.
• Massachusetts Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure required.
• 2 years inpatient cardiology experience as an APP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with inpatient cardiology attending to evaluate admissions and consults.
• Participate in daily cardiology rounds and formulate treatment plans.
• Write initial consult and daily progress notes.
• Follow through on team recommendations with nursing staff.
• Assist with supervising cardiology testing and procedures as needed.
• Prepare clear sign-outs to ensure smooth patient handoffs.
