Job summary

Mass General Brigham invites applications for a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider. The APP, a licensed clinician, will assess patients, develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, and communicate the plan to the primary team within the cardiology service.

This full-time role includes weekday/weekend responsibilities with occasional holiday coverage, based at 90 Blossom Street, and requires a Master’s degree and relevant cardiology experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree required.

• Licenses: Physician Assistant State License or Nurse Practitioner Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population across settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic results.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies and procedures.
• Documents thoroughly including admission and progress notes, procedure notes and discharge summaries.
