Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Inpatient Cardiology team on a PRN basis in Columbia, SC. You will work with a nationally recognized cardiovascular team to care for acute and complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced setting.

You will participate in pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural care, collaborating with cardiologists, nurses, and specialists to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• APN or PA board certified and SC license (or eligible)
• Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN clinical support across inpatient cardiology and procedural settings
• Assist with evaluation and management of cardiovascular conditions (heart failure, ischemic disease, arrhythmias)
• Participate in pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
