Job summary

MUSC Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Inpatient Cardiology team on a PRN basis. This role supports inpatient cardiovascular care and works with cardiologists to manage acute and chronic conditions in a fast-paced setting.

The position features 12-hour shifts with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per month, robust Epic EHR tools, and a collaborative, patient-centered care approach. SC license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with SC license (or eligible) and board certification.
• Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN clinical support across inpatient cardiology and procedural settings.
• Assist with evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Participate in pre-procedural assessments, inpatient management, peri-procedural care, and post-procedural follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
