Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Inpatient Cardiology team on a PRN basis in Columbia, SC. The position offers 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 24 hours per month, working within a top cardiovascular program in a dynamic hospital.

Ideal candidates are clinically confident, team-oriented, and skilled in managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, with strong procedural and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• AP provider must be NP or PA, board certified/licensed in SC.
• Cardiology, cardiovascular surgery or critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN clinical support across inpatient cardiology and procedural settings.
• Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Participate in pre-procedural, inpatient, peri-procedural and post-procedural care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams to deliver care.
