Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient RN to join our team in Scranton, PA. This full-time role offers a $26,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates and a $40.55 minimum hourly rate with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Position includes relocation assistance for eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one, with tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year and a robust wellness program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care as established in unit standards including education and discharge planning.
• Promotes teamwork by delegating tasks to team members based on skill and needs of the patient.
