Job summary

Holland Hospital is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to serve on the inpatient psychiatric unit. You will conduct initial evaluations, gather input from family, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered treatment plans, including individual, family, and group therapy.

This part-time role offers a day shift (7:30am–4:00pm) with 48 hours every two weeks, weekend and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology is required.
• Current Michigan certification required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required within 60 days after hire.
• Independent Practice Certification (LMSW, CAC, LPC) required.
• Computer literacy required.
• 2 years experience with adult mentally ill in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes timely initial assessments including psychosocial history and support systems.
• Develops patient-centered care plans with input from patient, family, and multidisciplinary team.
• Provides individual, family, and group therapy when indicated.
• Manages discharge planning and aftercare coordination with outpatient providers and family.
