Job summary

The position involves assisting with admissions, assessments, monitoring, and documentation, and may include unit or department float duties. AHA BLS certification and hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of starting.
• Minimum one year of related hospital patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and safety.
• Maintain patient comfort and satisfaction under RN supervision.
• Document findings and communicate with RN and healthcare team.
• Assist with transport and unit safety checks.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
