Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking staff for its Acute Unit, an 18-bed inpatient unit focused on safety and stabilization. You will provide physical and psychological care under RN supervision in a 1-on-1 or small-group setting, conducting assessments and documenting in the EMR.

This role offers varied shifts (72 hrs/2 wks) and a team-driven environment with a sign-on bonus, aiming to move health forward for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Psychology, Social Work, criminal justice, education, behavior analysis, health or social sciences, counseling, alcohol studies, liberal arts, or any other human services and/or medical field.
• Associate's Behavioral Health
• 1-3 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and psychological care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assess changes in patient condition and notify RN.
• Maintain accurate records in the patient EMR and support daily living activities.
