Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Adult C Unit to deliver direct patient care under RN supervision and participate in the inter-disciplinary treatment plan. The role emphasizes safety, assessment, and documentation in the EMR.

You will support daily living activities, assist in developing therapeutic activities, and work within a dedicated team to deliver high-quality patient care in a structured setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field or
• Associate's degree in Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Participate in daily inter-disciplinary team meetings and treatment planning.
• Perform suicide precautions and monitor patient safety.
• Assess changes in patient condition and communicate with RN.
• Document promptly in the EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic activities.
