Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Healthcare Technician to support inpatient care during the 7P-7A shift. You will assist nurses with basic patient care, document observations in the EMR, and help with admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Basic CNA course (75 hours minimum) or approved equivalent training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Communicates patient observations to the RN or Provider promptly.
• Responds to emergencies with basic life support and de-escalation.
• Records patient data, vitals, and care notes in EMR.
• Maintains clean, safe nursing unit and stocks supplies.
• Transports patients for tests or procedures as needed.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and patient mobility.
• Follows infection prevention and safety procedures.
