Job summary

Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health, a 20-bed inpatient hospital, is hiring CNAs to support psychiatrists and RNs caring for adults and geriatrics. You will engage with patients, lead activities, and help ensure a safe, therapeutic environment in a facility co-located with NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active CNA certification (preferred, not required).
• BLS certification (required).
• 1 year experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support RNs and providers in delivering high-quality psychiatric care.
• Provide direct patient interaction and engagement.
• Assist with individual and group activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health.
• Conduct therapeutic groups for adult and geriatric patients.
