Nhccare in Maryland Heights is hiring for a Behavioral Health Tech/CNA on the night shift (7:00PM–7:00AM) at our 20-bed inpatient behavioral health unit serving adult and geriatric psychiatric care. You will join a compassionate team dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes.

The role involves direct patient care, engagement, group activities, and maintaining a safe environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, active CNA certification, BLS, and 1+ year behavioral

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active CNA certification (REQUIRED).
• BLS certification (required).
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Support RNs and providers in delivering high-quality psychiatric care
• Provide direct patient interaction and engagement
• Assist with individual and group activities
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health
