Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by CA.
• One year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Maintain medical records and comply with policies.
• Administer medications and document controlled substances.
