Job summary

MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health on the night shift. This 32-hour position offers a collaborative environment and the chance to provide compassionate care in a trauma-informed setting.

You will assess patients, contribute to treatment planning, and work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Previous experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings is preferred, including restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to adults in inpatient behavioral health.
• Assess patient health status and modify care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment goals.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu and respond to crises.
• Document interventions and patient progress accurately.
