Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to deliver specialized nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The role involves administering medications, educating patients, and maintaining accurate documentation within a six-month contract.

Shifts include Day, Evening, and Night, with scheduling based on staffing needs. Must hold an LVN license and have at least two years of nursing experience, able to work with patients with complex medical and behavioral health

Qualifications

Current and valid LVN license is required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Ability to work with individuals with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and support to patients with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.
Administer medications and prescribed treatments per established protocols.
Provide medication education to patients as appropriate.
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Perform computer-based data entry and maintain patient records.
Follow facility SOPs, policies, and directives.
Maintain compliance with state standards, rules, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Participate in required facility training and orientation.
