Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SRBHH) seeks an Inpatient Group Facilitator to provide therapeutic groups for acute psychiatric inpatients, including adolescents and adults. The role supports an interdisciplinary treatment team on an as-needed basis with evidence-based interventions for stabilization and discharge readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related therapy field.
• Two years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification or obtained during orientation.
• Verbal de-escalation and approved intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic, coping skills, relapse prevention, and psychoeducational groups.
• Chart patient participation and progress in the EHR within California Title 22 timelines.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to align group topics with patient treatment goals.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and utilize de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Focus group interventions on discharge readiness and community reintegration.
• Comply with HIPAA and LPS guidelines; maintain professional boundaries.
• Performs related duties and uphold the organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
