The role requires strong leadership in an acute mental health setting, a Master’s degree, and a NY-licensed clinical credential.

Qualifications

• Certification in psychiatry, or applicable field, preferred.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in an acute mental health setting preferred.
• Master's degree preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA, or leadership focused)
• BSN or LMSW in the State of New York

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inpatient behavioral health unit's clinical and administrative operations.
• Prepare and manage the department budget; identify opportunities for financial savings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure staffing efficiency and provide administrative and clinical supervision for all staff.
• Monitor patient care outcomes and drive continuous improvement; ensure accreditation compliance.
• Evaluate utilization review, corporate compliance, operations, and patient safety with health system partners.
