Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an experienced Director of Behavioral Services in Ithaca, NY to provide clinical and administrative leadership for an inpatient behavioral health program.

You will oversee treatment services, patient safety, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial management, and performance improvement, working with physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other clinical staff.

Qualifications

• BSN or New York State LMSW licensure required.
• Strong clinical and administrative leadership capabilities.
• Experience with mental health conditions and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision of inpatient behavioral health services.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures and programs.
• Manage department budget and staffing levels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and data-driven performance improvement.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other disciplines to deliver effective treatment.
