Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to support the inpatient teams in assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning on our behavioral health units.

Responsibilities include individual, group, and family counseling, regular group therapy, and family involvement in care. Strong CBT skills and experience with documentation and coordinating with the care team are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling required.
• Licensed LCPC or LCSW in Illinois required; CPI training within 3 months.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family counseling to assist patients and families in achieving treatment goals.
• Provides individual counseling per treatment plan.
• Facilitates group therapy at least weekly.
• Involves families in treatment at least twice weekly.
• Offers family counseling per treatment plan (adult/geriatric).
• Applies CBT and brief therapies as appropriate.
• Documents in DAIR format in a timely, concise, legible manner.
• Participates in discharge planning and coordination with the team and community providers.
