Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced behavioral health clinician to support inpatient units. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients and their families.

The role emphasizes adherence to treatment plans, timely documentation, and active engagement in staffing and community referrals as part of the care pathway.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
• Licensed LCPC or LCSW eligibility per IDFPR.
• CPI training within 3 months as required.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health care settings.
• Knowledge of DAIR documentation and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family counseling to help patients and families reach treatment goals.
• Delivers individual counseling as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Facilitates group therapy at least once weekly.
• Engages families at least twice weekly in treatment planning and sessions.
• Assists with discharge planning and coordination with care teams.
