Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to supervise inpatient nursing staff on Calispel Inpatient Units in Spokane. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and ensure adherence to care plans while guiding a nursing team across assigned shifts.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, clinical leadership, and collaboration with physicians and management to optimize patient outcomes. Requires WA RN license and active BLS; psychiatric/inpatient background preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in WA at time of hire.
• Active BLS within 90 days of hire and maintain it.
• Psychiatric/inpatient experience preferred.
• Experience as charge nurse/unit lead preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of staff on shift.
• Coordinate staff assignments for admits/discharges and patient care.
• Lead in emergencies and coordinate with management.
• Provide training and supervision to all shift staff.
• Maintain collaborative relationship with management and report on shift activities.
