Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join the Inpatient Behavioral Health team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves rotational shifts, with Monday–Friday coverage and coordination with care teams.

The ideal candidate is a Virginia-licensed NP or PA with a current DEA license, capable of comprehensive medical care and crisis management within an integrated care setting using Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• Virginia-licensed NP or PA with a current, unrestricted DEA license.
• Ability to provide quality, comprehensive medical care with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments, monitor daily progress, and discharges.
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate.
• Partner with care coordination teams, families, and patients.
