Job summary

Sonora Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking dedicated staff to provide personal care services under clinical or nursing supervision. You will promote patient safety and comfort, assist with daily living activities, and document care accurately while engaging patients in therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
• Must be able to Obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate urgency related to patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
• Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive environment.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in patient records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient transport as needed.
• Engage patients in groups and activities to support treatment goals.
• Complete and maintain required documentation and follow-up on incidents.
• Provide respectful, empathetic care and address complaints as appropriate.
