Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center in Stockton, CA is hiring a Worker, Mental Health to observe, report, and document patient behaviors within a secure therapeutic setting.

You will assist with safe transport and contribute to compassionate care across diverse age groups. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1 year of direct patient care as a CNA in acute care, 6 months of psychiatric experience, 6 months of customer service, and a CA driver's license; CPR/AHA

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• One (1) year direct hands on patient experience as a Certified Nurses Assistant in an acute care setting (hospital or LTC) or
• Six (6) months psychiatric experience and
• Six (6) months customer service experience
• Driver's License: CA
• Basic Life Support - CPR, through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Observe, report, and record patient behaviors to help provide a safe, secure therapeutic environment.
• Transport documents or patients within the Behavioral Health Center as needed.
• Provide compassionate care across diverse age populations and uphold Core Values and hospital mission.
