Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center‑Sac Children's Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I to assist with filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments. Responsibilities include triaging orders, maintaining automated dispensing systems, and ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and Washington Pharmacy Technician license; preferred WA Board‑approved tech program and retail pharmacy experience.

Description

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Providence Mission, Vision and Values.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
