Job summary

TeleSpecialists is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to support inpatient care within hospital systems in collaboration with telemedicine teams. You will conduct patient evaluations, implement treatment plans, ensure continuity of care, and maintain timely documentation in the EMR.

You will work with both on-site and remote providers to improve throughput, quality, and adherence to clinical standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 1–2 years inpatient hospital-based or acute clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in neurology, internal medicine, critical care, or acute care environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person clinical support for hospital-based patients with TeleSpecialists teams.
• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical exams within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and document care plans.
• Assist with admissions, consults, rounding, and discharge coordination as appropriate.
• Document encounters and updates accurately in the EMR system.
